Old Danville
The mission of Old Danville History is to bridge the gap between the
present and the past by identifying, preserving, and sharing the physical
and narrative legacy of the vanished town of Danville, Texas.
Dedicated to uncovering the stories of the pioneers—including the Irvines,
Spillers, and Tabors—who established their lives along the historic Main
Street, ensuring that their names and contributions are never forgotten.

Original Town Plat
The 1848 Town Plat and anchor point was filed by Daniel Robinsonin 1848. The original town plat provided a precise, yet impossible to locate starting point for Danville's grid.
